Vern Willan brought a really cool steam engine/generator that he built over the winter and demoed it. It has a boiler which, when heated, boils water to make steam which then runs a miniature steam engine. The steam engine then drives a generator which generates electricity.
Paul Duncan, Mark Overberg, Kirk Peterson and Scott Stewart arrived. Scott modified a couple of pedals for his hill climber that he is building.
Paul Musgrave brought his tudor on his trailer, it had died on him, we checked it out and found that the distributor capacitor had failed, he got one at O’Reilly’s and we got it running in the afternoon.
Angel and Lucien tightened up his right rear wheel wood wheel. Kirk continued tuning his coils in preparation for the Montana 500 in June.
